Sonlight

1 John 1:7.
“But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
I started this lion on August 16th, 2024 and he has been with me through my precious pup Jazzies death in September, my precious Moms coding in September and the hardest loss of my life, her death on January 22, 2025!
It took a long time to finish him and my mom and Jazzie watched me start it. Now they are together in heaven for the completion.
I’m happy to complete him but also sad. He saw me through lots of life and death. He’s been a comfort in this horrible storm. Of course I know the real HIM has always been with me but there is an unexpected sorrow that comes with finishing this lion.

As a side note: The cross in the middle of his forehead was unintentional. In fact I didn’t know it was there until a few of my friends pointed it out. I like to think that Holy Spirit had a hand in it.

I kept the original for myself, for obvious reasons. This picture has my heart.
